I've just started Yu Qi on solids, he's had sweet peas and is loving them
Ok so, I'm wanting to also give him a juice and well, I've never heard anybody mention how they've started juices. I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to start them like any other solid, give it to him for a few days to see if he has any allergic reactions, but I'm wondering if it's still ok to give him the sweet peas that he's already ok'd at the same time as well. I don't mean I'm going to mix them together or anything, but after he eats some sweet peas I want to give him a little juice in the bottle as well that he can finish off until he feels satisfied.
Another question is, when I start my regular fruits, and I'm testing for allergys can I still give him the veggies that I've ok'd?
Anything that he has already eaten and had no reactions to can be given at any time. I believe this includes juice. Troy has had some watered down pear and apple juice--he doesn't like them otherwise. We also make his cereal with watered down juice.
I agree to what was already said. With Dylan he gets juice sometimes. Its hard because since he is nursing he isnt big on bottles AT ALL lol but with the juice we started off with one kind just like introducing new foods but I even bought the gerber kind and still watered it down.
