My guy is slow to weight gain, what do you think about the food he ate yesterday and so far today? he is 18lbs.

I felt like Evan ate a lot yesterday, DH said he thought it was a little bit, and that he would like to see Evan eat 1.5X this much. What do you think? How does it compare?

YESTERDAY

7:30 Vigorous nursing (3-5 oz guessing)?
1/3 banana
1/3 waffle
4 t sunflower butter
oz soymilk

11:00
Moderate Nursing (2-3 oz guessing)?
1 oz soy milk

12:00
2.5 oz soy milk
c vegetables and eggs

1:00
29 Spoonfuls Vanilla-low fat yogurt

3:00 Sippy Cup-all vitamins- carrots puree w/brown rice, 2oz fruit juice
Freeze Dried Strawberries and Oyster Crackers
oz cow milk

4:15 moderate nursing (2-3 oz, guessing)
Finished Crackers and Strawberries

6:10
1 oz cow milk
1 can 2nd stage, DHA enriched Peach baby food 140 cals, 3 g protein

7:30
Prunes – stage 1 size –
Water
Small bit of focaccia bread

8:30
Moderate Nursing (2-3 oz—guessng)

So far today:

7:00 Vigerous nursing (4-5 oz guessing)
7:15 c apple cinnamon oatmeal 42 cals 1.25 g protein
1 t sunflower butter 31 cals 1 g protien
1 t spinach
3 banana slices
1/8 waffle

8:30
1.5 oz soy milk

10:30
2 oz of Sippy cup w/
1 t flax seed oil, 1 jar 2nd stage carrots and rice, serving goats milk powder, 2 oz prune juice, vitamins

12:00
c yobaby yogurt, w/1 T almond meal

I think thats good. But thats just my opinion. All kids go through stages though where they eat more or less in certain time periods.

I have no idea what a baby your age eats. It sounds like alot of food to me though, not too much or anything I mean prolly just right.
