We are going camping starting on Tuesday for 5 days. I am not sure what to take with us other than the "usual". Can you guys think of anything that I should make sure to take?
How do I heat his food if he doesnt eat the whole thing? Is a partial eaten jar ok in an ice chest until lunch or dinner time?
How do I give a kid a bath in a coin operated shower LMAO? He's too much of a wiggle worm to just hold him and wash him at the same time. My dad suggested taking his baby bath and putting it in the tent and we'll heat up some water on the stove and put it in the bath and let it cool off enough to put him in it. I dont think thats going to work the way that he splashes around!!!
What is the best way to sleep in a tent with a baby? We were going to put his pack and play in there but there isnt enough room. We have an air mattress but Im nervous about putting Dylan on the air mattress with us. Because when you lay on it it sinks in where you are and im afraid he's going to roll into me and not be able to breathe or something. (ive never really co slept before not that I dont agree with it or anything dont get me wrong lol just because I would never sleep really well because I would be worried about him)
That's a toughie--as far as the food, it will be fine in the ice chest for a few hours. Troy eats his food right out of the fridge so maybe Dylan will like it colder???
Bathing??? Hmmm--hope someone can help you out with that one. Cosleeping--never done it so I feel the same way--I would have been too aware of him to sleep well, so good luck! I look forward to hearing how it all goes. Sorry I wasn't much help--have a great trip!
hmmm I never thought of using his carseat!!! Good Idea Alison I think I might try that but the only problem is Dylan sleeps on his tummy. BUt he does sleep in his carseat sometimes but it seems like the second he doesnt hear the sound of the car or the movement he wakes up. I think with the food Im going to go back to stage 1's because he can finish those in no time!! Thanks girls!!!
