I gave Seth bananas for the first time this morning around 9:30. It's 4:30 in the afternoon and he just puked all over me. It wasn't like normal baby spit up...it was, well...puke. I'm not going to feed him bananas for awhile, just to make sure, but would it be normal for it to take that long before him throwing it up? Everything else has been normal today. He hasn't been fussy. He's napped normally and nursed normally the rest of the day.

Dylan reacted the same way to rice cereal. What our dr told us was to wait about 4-7 days and then try it again. If they have the same reaction then he probably is allergic. HTH Let us know!!!

with some reactions my ds breaks out and can't breathe, but with fish.. which he is also allergic too he vomits.. and it is a reaction. .sometimes not immediately but later.. well he used to till we stopped giving it to him cuase of the allergy.. I would wait a month.. and try again.. if he has the same reaction you can assume it is an allergy...
