What is a typical meal that you feed your child?

My baby is almost a year and I struggle to feed her healthy foods. She prefers applesauce and cheese slices over a "vegetable ham dinner" from Gerber!....

She probably likes the cheese slices better because its finger food. She's almost a year old and doesnt need baby jarred food anymore. Try giving her things like canned carrots and yam. Fruit cups. Deli meat. Banana slices. Mac and Cheese. You know, things that are easy to eat but she can pick up and do on her own.

I agree with Jennifer.. Braxton isn't that far yet.... But when Walker was her age he liked being a big boy and doing things for himself.. So I nixed the baby food and bought him finger foods.. And he loved them.. And even to this day he will pick fruits over sweets....

Those gerber meals taste awful. I use to make my own versions of them and freeze them. After I did that they wouldn't touch the gerber food.

Lily wont eat baby food anymore either. She gets every kind of table food imaginable. I give her turkey or soy hot dogs, deli meats, soft cheeses, chunks of fruit, peas, carrots, corn, fruit cups, pancakes, waffles, ravioli, spaghetti, meatballs, mac and cheese.

Oh the list goes on..... my little one is quite a porky eater!
