Right now Sarah is eating stage 3 baby food. Most of them anyway. She prefers the creamier ones as opposed to the chunkier ones. SHe also eats those fruit puffs from Gerber and baby oatmeal. I am kinda paranoid to give her more solid food because she is a gerbil, lol!!! The stores food in her mouth and will keep putting more in, then she tries to swallow it and ends up choking!!! Eveyone says she should be able to eat more solid stuff at this age, what do you think? I have also started giving her a LITTLE 1% milk in her bottle. What do you think, is this ok?

Thanks girls!!!

I was told by my dr and read one other place (dont remember where) that they should be on finger foods by age 1. Tyler was eating what we ate or those Gerber Graduates by 1. Ty also likes to shove it all in his mouth. One time he had a hissy fit because he could only fit 3 animal crackers in his mouth at a time. The easiest way I found to deal with it is to eat dinner with him and just slowly put one or 2 pieces of food on his HC at a time. I would keep telling him "1 at a time" and praise him when he ate like a normal human being, LOL. He eventually slowed down but he does still have his moments.
