Ok, Alex has been on solids since 4 months, he has 3 teeth and he sits up really good. The problem?? He wants REAL food!! He cries whenever he sees us eating, and tries to grab at everything. One of the books I was looking at said something about him being able to feed himself a cracker, but should I be giving him crackers?? I know it may seem silly, since I have a 3 year old, but I am so confused. Can I give him cheerios now? if not, then when?? I bought him one of those net food bag things, but what can I put in it?? Oh man, I feel like I have started all from scratch, my experience with my daughter was so different.

You can try Cheerios. My son Nick loved those gerber grad puffs, you can try those. What about biter biscuits?
