ok i have been feeding my baby boy 2 cereal bottles a day, so my pdeiatrician said "NO MORE" you need to start spoon feeding him.... well for the past two days i cant get him to even try the spoon the only way he'll let me put it in his mouth is UPSIDE DOWN!!!! Im afraid he wont learn to suck the creal off the spoon he scccreamed the whole time... i cant go through that again, it takes so long and when he is screaming on top of that GEEEEE, please give me some tips on spoon feeding and getting it started i know it takes a few tries but i need some help on how to get it goin.... Thanks a bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmm. I was gonna say, if I have to feed Xan about 1 hr after he has a bottle. If I try sooner than that he is too full but if I try too much later than that he is too hungry to eat from the spoon cause it isn't fast enough..lol. It just takes a little time for them to get used to it.
I fed some formula 1st and then I try giving her some from a spoon and she takes it when she 1st started though she screamed too and I just keep trying and soon enough she did it and now she loves her spoon my doctor said never give it to them in a bottle try a little spoon too. Emily only likes the small ones.
