New here. I've been on ortho-tri for about 4 years now (I'm 21). Occasionally I'll skip months and my period seems to stay regular whether on or off. But I am not ready to TTC just yet. I don't mind condoms, in fact, my BF and I use them anyway b/c I am paranoid about 'what ifs' but I have pretty painful cramps when I'm not in the pill. On the pill I dont even take any pain meds at all. My cramps aren't outrageous like some people's...but for sure uncomfertable. Basically I would rather be on the Pill until ready to TTC (probably in another 4-5 yrs). But I don't want it to comprimise my fertility. I'm asked a couple physicans and CNMs and they all said the length of time you are on it should have no effect on fertility...most concieve within a few months of being off it. But I've heard otherwise from some people. I just wanted to see what you ladies think from experience and such.
