In order for him to be romantic it takes some thought on his part. It's usually not random (like he bought me flowers for Valentine's Day). He wrote me the sweetest card that came w/ the flowers and I read it every day (it's on the fridge). I love it! We have nicknames for each other, but nothing any other couple doesn't call one another.

Mama to 3, expecting #4 in December!

My Dh is not romantic at all, lol, it is actually a running joke in our families...that is how un-romantic he is.

When he bought me my promise ring all he said was here, and handed it to me (he didn't even pick out the ring, he had his brother take me to the jewelry store to pick it out).

I didn't get proposed to. He had told me he was joining the Army and so we knew we would have to get married, one day he just looked at me and said "So have you thought of a date yet?"...oh and that promise ring was turned into an engagement ring too (and is now my wedding ring, but that is because we couldn't afford anything else at the time).

But I still love him, lol.

Thank you Kiliki for my beautiful siggy!

He likes to think he's romantic. Usually he'll send me those edible arrangements (and I HATE getting those from him because usually he gets the strawberries and they are too tart for me to eat). A few days before my birthday he said on Skype "Maybe you'll get a birthday arrangement of the edible kind..." and I was like "Please don't." LOL. It shocked him and he was like "You don't like getting those?" And so I had to tell him I thought it was a waste of money because I didn't really like them. Either their bananas are disgusting, their strawberries are so tart I can't eat them, or the chocolate tastes weird. I would rather just get some regular chocolates (I hate getting flowers because I have no clue what to do with them) or nothing at all. LOL. So now he's started sending me Godiva chocolates.

But anyways, he does a good job for the most part.

If he calls me anything mushy than I know he's done something bad or he is trying to make up with me.

He is very sweet and romantic. We call each other babes and kitty-mommy or kitty-daddy (since we don't have children yet, just cats)

Thank you, Jaidynsmum, for the amazing siggy

We sometimes make each other queasy with how mushy we can be. LOL.

And yes, we do have nicknames for each other, but they're just the generic Babe and Baby.

My DH is very chivalrous and helpful. But more practical than romantic. We're more homely types I guess but cuddling and watching TV, or laying in bed and talking is more of our type of romantic. However, we do have a little restaurant we go to, to get pizza that we call 'our place'. And he got me a stuffed bear, some candy and a card on Valentine's day.
