...are making me a little sad. It's like I want to bring it up with DH again, but I DON'T want him to feel like I'm pressuring him...even though I want to.... I think I'm going to stay out of grads for a few days.

Come join me in my pity party!

PS: I AM happy for everyone who has a BFP though

aww you're not alone! *hugs* It is very hard to not feel jealous of seeing everyone else getting pregnant. Even when you're happy for them, you want that to be you. I definitely get that way too. And I'm still keeping my FX for you that your DH will come around and be ready when you originally thought. Keep up those positive vibes!

I have a lot of friends who are pregnant right now. Many just got BFPs within the past month. For some reason my friends always get pregnant the year before I plan to.

I agree. This was supposed to have been my 'safe haven'. A place to connect with others who are actually waiting to ttc, to share baby fever, hope, dreams, and give support while we are actually waiting. That is just not happening on this board. I need to leave.

Good luck to everyone! I hope you get your BFPs quickly when you are finished waiting.

No way, Candi! This thread is me literally feeling sorry for myself. It's so much worse since DH won't commit to a date we can agree on.

I'm super happy for you! And I will track your progress...I just need a couple days

Ashley, it totally breaks my heart to see you feel like this because that's how I was feeling for the past four years. I wish I could do something to help you, or magically make your DH come around and give you a set date, even if it is years away, because knowing is so much less painful than being in the dark about everything

Originally we agreed on TTC when I graduate (next June, although i think i would like to plan for a summer 2013 baby to not interfere with work) which is exactly what I'm hoping will still happen.

THEN DH said he wants to wait until my teaching credential is clear (which is a MINIMUM of 3 years, and that is only if i get, and keep a teaching job for 2 years starting right after I graduate).

I'm still hoping to TTC sometime shortly after graduation, but DH is being poopy.

ugh ashley that is so frustrating I think you need to tell your dh what my mom told me: There is NEVER a 'best' time to have a baby, only the time thats right for YOU.

I hope he comes around. You are only planning on having one correct? I dont see why you cant have it after you graduate. If I were looking to hire someone I would want to hire someone who is having their baby right away and then I wont have to worry about finding a replacement later on, kwim? Anyway, tell him we know best and you are right

I am very happy for everyone who's gotten a BFP

But yes, they make me sad. We're getting our 1st apartment, our own place.. and we still can't ttc for almost 2 years

Hmm... if you wait as long as he wants to, he'll be over the hill by the time the baby graduates!

Men are crazy. I got a 3 year guarantee since I used the old wives tales of over 30 being worrisome.

I'm right there with you Ashley. DH is driving me crazy. One minute he's saying maybe we just shouldn't have kids, the next he's buying a cute little onsie and saying maybe we should just go ahead and TTC. Realistically, next spring would be the earliest we'd TTC so I probably don't have as long a wait as your DH is wanting you to. *hugs*

I know how you feel.... We're all in the same boat.. Waiting sux...

But my DH is right, even though I hate it when he is. And my head and heart say I'm ready..the more financially stable we are the better it is in the long run..
