For you soon-to-be mommies out there, what do you look foward to most about being a mom? For the BTDT mommies, what do you enjoy most about motherhood, and what do you look foward to most about adding another LO to the family?

For me, I look forward to having someone to take care of. I am a very nuturing person by nature, and I am always wanting to "mommy" everyone. LOL. I think it is a trait I get from my mom. In that same vein, I really look foward to passing on certain things to my kids like fun family traditions, activities, etc.

What about you ladies??

I don't know if I can be considered soon to be a mommy, LOL! But, I will be a SAHM so I look forward to being able to be that for my children. I was in daycare from K-4th and latchkey from 5th on. I didn't like it. I understand it was a necessity for my parents, but DH and I are waiting and planning financially to be able to have me home for our future LO's.

I'm also excited about getting to be a SAHM, but I'm most looking forward to that excitement in your babies face when they see you walk in the room and just want to be by you and the big hug and kiss and I love you mama. Can't wait for that!

Hmm.

For me, the success of it. having had so many losses it'd be nice to feel like my body can do what it was designed to do.

i don't think i could pick just one thing about being a mum i love everything about it. watching them grow and learn things daily listening to all the funny things you say having someone always there for a cuddle. with a having two i love watching them play how they love each other and you can see it in everything they do. and how they forgive the other instantly if they hurt them.
i look forward to having another because it makes the house busier and someone else for them to play with and love. for my ds it will be his playmate when dd is with her friends for my dd it will be her life long friend if its a girl someone for her to always relie on if its a boy it will hopefully be same for both,

I don't know it this sounds weird....but I'm looking forward to breastfeeding. I think it is AMAZING that our badies can make, and then sustain a life!

In the long run, I'm just really excited to see who this little person will be. Like, what kinds of things he or she gets from me and DH

I love everything about being a mommy! the hugs, kisses, and love yous are amazing! Watching her learn something new like everyday is incredible. Her laughs, the way she tries so hard to run really fast when I'm chasing her, and her cuddles I couldn't live without! she's perfect!

Being the person who can quiet the baby in an instant by a word or just holding them. Reading bed time stories, rocking them to sleep. To going to the local parades with my whole family like we have for years. Watching DH with the baby over the years, teaching them to throw a football. Me to teach him/her to swim. Everything that I've seen my sister do with her boys. Being a family, DH, baby, and I going places, the park, walks, vacations. Just everything honestly.

The thing I look forward to the most is being a family. Being able to see that baby for the first time and know we created life, - that to me is the coolest thing in the entire world!

I am so silly excited for family portraits, feedings, and play time And of course the ridiculous amounts of adorable baby clothes!!!!

I love watching him learn things. I get all excited everytime he does something new. Yesterday he went from his tummy to a sitting position for the first time and I was the proudest mom ever I also LOVE when he falls asleep in my arms (that's how he falls asleep everytime).

I'm looking forward to pregnancy, the birth, trying to breastfeed again (with more success I hope) and again, watching my new baby learn everything.

I'm also looking forward to passing on some traditions (and creating new ones)!
