Nope, because even though there are a lot of unpleasant things such as round ligament pain, morning sickness, back aches, fatigue, etc. I think the good things outweigh them any day. I think I am lucky to get to feel the kicks and hiccups.

^ Yup I totally agree. I was hefty and huge but I loved it. My pregnancy was so easy and mellow, I truly did enjoy and love every minute of it. All the downers (like constipation and heartburn) were totally overshadowed by the good stuff like feeling kicks and all that!
I will say though, that if a man could get a glimpse of it...even for just a day, I think their whole perspective would change. I think right now its hard for them to really understand the whole of it - how it affects us to the very soul of our being emotionally, mentally, and physically. Although I totally believe that if men were the pregnant ones, they would be totally ridiculous and whiners!!! LOL!!! THEN it would be something serious and I'm sure insurance, employment, "paternity leave/pay" and the like would be structured very differently in favor of the "daddy-to-be".

Yes, but only for a week to see what it is we go through. But if it meant in my place and I didn't get to experience the pregnancy, then no. As hard as it can be at time, that's a very special time for me to get baby all to myself. It's something thousands of women would give anything to experience and I wouldn't trade it for the world

I read this post last night before going to bed and I had the weirdest dream of my neighbor guy being pregnant!
I would love for hubby to be able to experience it, but as Memi said, I wouldn't trade the whole thing. Even with the hyperemesis and hospitalizations, etc...it is all so amazin and special!

Since I havent made it all the way through pregnancy yet, I'm gonna say No. I look forward to experiencing all of it, good or bad.
I've said that if I can go all the way next time and have a healthy baby in the end if I complain about anything someone can slap me.
Maybe after a time through I will want DH to go through parts for me but as of now I look forward to all of it to let him do it for me.

Well, my s/o is a lady, so she can and has done the whole pregnancy deal. So it's kind of cool when I get there she'll be like "oh yeah, I remember that". But SD? Nah, I don't think he could handle it .

I haven't been pregnant, so I have no idea what it is like...so I'm going to say yes because I wouldn't know what I was missing
DH is just SOOOOOOOO much better at handling stress/emotions than I am!

No way! Yes I would love for him to be pregnant just for a day or two, just so he could see how it is, but other than that I wouldn't give that up in the world. I love being pg, even with all the aches and pains etc. and I love going through the whole birth process.

No way!!! My DH is a huge baby as it is. I can't imagine dealing with him if he was pregnant. I think I would go insane!!! I actually had a really good pregnancy with my first, so I guess you could say I "enjoyed" being pregnant. I wouldn't give up feeling those little kicks for anything.
