hey girls...

So suffice it to say this last cycle was SUPER ridiculous!! I'm still waiting to enroll on Josh's insurance, so until then, I'm trying not to pay out of pocket for doc appointments if I think it'll heal/go away on its own or its just nothing.

Before this wonky cycle, LMP was 11/30 and this one started 1/3. Began light to medium and I thought it was going to get worse because normally day 1 overnight into day 2 is my heaviest...like have to change (even through the night) every 2 hours and I'm lucky I don't leak! Instead it got lighter. My tampons never were full when i changed them. Day 2 of AF was almost non existent. Enough to wear a light tampon and even then it wasn't full. But my concern was that those two days my hoo-haa HURT so bad. Like it was contracting trying to push the tampon out. I was SOOOO sore and everything inside my girl was super swollen! So so irritated. And despite AF, I was SUPER dry...I almost busted out some sexy time lube we have but was afraid it would irritate me more. After day 2 (wed), it went to spotting (thurs & fri) and I inserted a tampon despite my vagina's protests to monitor how much and it was nothing...for a couple of hours I didn't even wear one and nothing was coming out, not even wipe status. Saturday it was gone. But despite no tampon, my girl was still ridiculously upset and kinda throb-y.

We had sex last night (no condom) and I did a cervial check just before to make sure nothing was lingering and I was so freakin swollen I had to push my vag walls down to get my finger in and up. Cervix was so high I couldn't reach the "face" of it...could barely feel the rim/edge...and really soft. And TMI, when sexy time was there Josh couldn't fit because I was so swollen. It was like being rammed. That has NEVER EVER happened to US. EVER. In these instances, I'm always WELL lubricated naturally Finally things negotiated and we were OK but right after my girl was yelling her protests again. Really irritated and throb-y sore. Started cramping and the whole bit. This morning, still a lil sore and when I went potty I had a little of spotting.

Right now, everything feels OK, not feeling flared up or crampy...Have any of you ladies had a similar experience??? Not itching, gunky or bad odor so not thinking yeast infection...no weird side/back pains or issues peeing so not thinking UTI...I really feel the need to go see a doc ASAP! But paying out of pocket sucks serious @S$!!!

Any insight would be much appreciated!

hun have you tested for pg? if you cervix is high and tender you could be pg.

i've had werid cycles that seem to take forever to start but it does come eventually.
after you have ruled out pg you may have to visit docc to rule out infection hun

Hm, Id maybe test as well, just to eliminate possible pregnancy. Whenever AF isnt how it usually is, thats where my mind goes. Especially when its so much lighter. Ive had some strange instances where my body doesnt react well to sex-feeling swollen, throbing, and crampy. But these were all with the mirena, and my body was also throwing a fit in response to that alone so I dont think my experience will be much help...

I'm thinking you should definitely test too. If it's negative I'm worried about the state of your girl and would have an examination...it might just be a yeast infection but you always need to check. Good luck and I'm sorry you're going through this!

LOL...OK, twisted my arm...for your viewing pleasure a red hot blaring

I feel good today. No grouchy cranky hoo-haa today. No cramping, irritation or soreness. I did do a cervical check this morning and while it still feels pretty swollen up in there...its no where near the ridiculousness it was on Saturday. Cervix still up high, so Who knows... I'm just gonna chalk this up to TWO F'n Sh!$$ty @$s cycles.

I hope this doesn't become regular

Is it possible that you had an allergic reaction to the tampons maybe?

O.M.G!!! I can't believe I didn't think of that! That very could be...

I use Tampax Pearl and love them, but this last cycle I accidentally picked up the "scented" kind and I totally remember thinking "darn, picked up the wrong ones".

I use to use them along time ago, probably last time was pre-prego status...but with all the other body/sensitivity/hormone changes after Vaughn...I wouldn't put it past my hoo-haa to now be sensitive to the scented ones.

Thanks girlfriend Will def pick up the unscented ones for next AF and see if I'm all good again!
