We're wating to try, so I can hang here while we wait. Neat-o! So, hi! I'm Darla and my partner is Dylan, who is a female FYI (it can get confusing with a unisex name). We just got engagged on Christmas Eve (we are just too darn cute for words), and are waiting to set a wedding date before deciding a TTC date.
Dylan already has a daughter, Penny (4 next week), who is just the most awesome girl ever. She says I'm her other mom, as Dylan's ex has never been much involved, and lordy is that a long story. So, eventually we plan for me to file to adopt Penny (as ex never filled out the paperwork after she was born). I've been in her life since she was 2 (a few months before her 3rd b-day), so really she doesn't know life without me.
We also have a puppy who is not a puppy (he's a year and half), toy poodle mix named Titus.
So that us nuts in our nutshell. If you have questions, ask away. I try to keep intros short or I'll overwhelm people with information! I could spend days talking about myself and family.

Hi! Yep, I'll be carrying, at least that's the plan, barring any unforseen problems. We're thinking early fall for the wedding. Depending on if we decide to stay in town (it stays hot for awhile here) or head somewhere we can get legally hitched, might move the date a little.

Welcome!! and congrats on your engagement!
I personally recommend going and getting it done legally. We had to circumvent our state law to get married, and tho we're valid in every state but our own, it makes it irritating since they wont recognize us as wed until we renew our vows next year.
