So I was just thinking.... if I do get pregnant the month we start TTC (wishful thinking!!!) and if my dates all stay the same, like my periods and ovulation dates... I would be 10 days after ovulation the day we start our trip to disneyland. I know some women can get a positive pregnancy test by then but others cant.

I just thought about rides.... do you think I should avoid the rides pregnant women are advised not to go on when we go to disneyland? I would obviously be only 2 weeks pregnant but I dont know if maybe rides could make me miscarry at that point?

Maybe california screamin and tower of terror should be avoided (they are actually in California Adventure)...other than that all the rides are pretty mild. I see pregnant women riding all the rides all the time. You should be fine!

I was just thinking about this too!!! If it were Magic Mountain, I'd say no way. But Disneyland is so mellow in comparison, ride wise. I def wouldn't have any issues on any of the Fantasyland/family rides...if I were to find out I was PG (TTC starting April) I may stay off of Space Moutain, Thunder Mountain and Autopia...maybe Star Wars too (that ride blows anyways and the line is ridiculous for seriously nothing).

I don't care for CA land, but I ditto Stacie above on those...

When I was found out I was PG with Vaughn I was 4 weeks and 3 days later I literally fell smack dead on my stomach. Freak accident! I was walking out of a movie theater, next thing I know I feel myself falling slow-mo to the ground. I landed half on/off the curb and street with my stomach landing right on the edge of the curb. I freaked out and was so sure I'd lose my baby! I was so sad, especially when I saw bruising and felt so sore. Of course, he's now a bouncing 20 month old. I say this to basically show how strong and resilient our babies our from the get go =)
