Stacie - We did! After 1 1/2 years of planning I was determined to enjoy it! LOL. I love the first picture you posted. DH wanted a beach wedding so badly! I love the easy going and stress-free feel it seems like they have and I get that from your pictures.

Our wedding was June 16, 2006. Same date as my parents actually. This is my hubby and my cousin-he was ordained to be able to be the one to perform the ceremony.

We had a small wedding in April, on a local golf course.
My ring barriers, I had 2 and no flower girl. There was no choosing when have 2 nephews

we got married in New Orleans in Sept. It poured like crazy prior to the ceremony. A friend of ours was our witness (plus her man of the minute) ... was awesome

Fun thread Stacie!!!
All you look wonderful and beautiful!!! I can't wait until I can "officially" start planning  While it would be formality, I'm looking forward to becoming engaged and having that giddy euphoric anticipation time before the big day!! AND I LOVE wedding planning...I've been researching like a mad woman. We will be having an intimate ceremony on Maui and then have the big vow renewal and reception at home in a year or so. Tentatively, we're set for getting married on our anniversary 12/31/2012.
For our Maui ceremony, I'm just doing something simple for my dress...however and although not exact, here are general pics of the style/design i'd like my dress to be for the big vow renewal ceremony on the mainland.
But here is me and my man =) I was visiting him for a 3 week vacation and then unknowingly went home with Vaughn - my "maui souvenir"! Tugs my heart seeing this pic...I felt so happy and knew Josh was my future. I was prob around 3 weeks and didn't even know then my life was about to change in a week. I got a BFP a week later  Nevermind the no make up, we woke up at 3am to drive up the Haleakala summit and catch the sunrise around 545. One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. This is about 15 minutes past actual sunrise.

Jeanette - I LOVE the second dress you posted! You'll look gorgeous with whichever you choose, I'm sure! And how gorgeous is that sunrise pic!?! Wow! I can just see the happiness from you both...maybe it has something to do with your lovely pregnancy glow?  Seriously though, beautiful photo!
Asley - I think the wet ground gave your pics such an awesome touch! It looks like it was planned that way for the pics! Love it!

Me too, Megan! I have people ask me if I'm sick when they see me with no makeup! lol I'm like nope...juuust ugly!
BTW the dark haired girl in my pics is my sister and that is her natural color....and we have the same parents! She got the lovely skin color and I got pasty white! lol She nick named me Casper!

LOL I know what you mean. I have very blotchy skin tone and my cheeks are always super pink/red bc of that so whenever I'm not wearing makeup in the summer everyone says first thing "Ohh man, you got sunburned!!!!" Umm no, just no make up, this is just the way I look. :rollseye:

Oh thanks girls!!! So sweet of you =)
While I'm tan pretty much all year round, that summer I was SUPER tan!! I lived in Vegas at the time and was hanging pool side tons, then before my trip to Maui, I went Cabo literally 2 weeks before I left to see visit Josh. So all the sun really evened my skin out. I totally love when I'm darker tan!
LOL, and yup a little secretive "PG GLOW" was also prob helping me out!! ;-)
These days though...I've got momma dark circles...sigh, not sure those will ever go away now since being momma is a 24/7 job forever and ever =)
PS: Stacie - I LOVE the 2nd dress too!!! It just screams "ME"!!! Flirty & spirited with the flounces down below, subtly sexy yet tasteful & elegant, glamorous, modern vintage and romantic with the sweetheart neckline. Oh man...I hope they don't stop making it by the time I have my renewal wedding!!
