I tried taking Vitex to encourage the return of my menstrual cycles because I am literally, seriously, going crazy. I can't temp right now because my baby wakes up too often but I check CM and CP daily and take OPK's if I notice a difference. Last night, I had really watery CM, so I took an OPK and sure enough, it was +! I got SO excited, thinking that I will be Oing and can just get back to feeling normal but today, they are totally negative. In the past, if I was Oing, I would get + OPK's for 3+ days, so I highly doubt I am Oing now.

I can't get in contact with the woman who locally teaches the billings method, so I am hoping that DS will start sleeping more (he seems to be getting better) so that I can start charting temps and everything but I just WANT MY PERIOD. Not so I can get pregnant but so I can prevent and feel good about it and so that I don't feel like a baby machine anymore.

After DD, I got my first PPAF at 12 months but I was really hoping it would return MUCH sooner with DS, since he tends to nurse SO much less than he does. Everything has been so different, like after DD, I didn't have any sex drive, I was dry as a bone and sex was uncomfortable. This time, I have PLENTY of CM, a very high sex drive and sex is extremely enjoyable so I thought that maybe because of those differences, it meant maybe AF would return sooner...

Does anybody have any experience? Did your period take longer, shorter, the same amount of time to return with multiple children? I wish I could just suck it up and be patient.

Sorry for the annoying, ranty whatever this was.

Yikes I'd be going crazy! No suggestions, I k,now it was like 11 months with her first nurser, and almost 16 with her second for my mother. She got pregnant with my baby brother on her second af pp so she nursed him longer to keep her fertility at bay. lol.

Well, I may have jumped the gun because now I am VERY slippery, stretchy, though not quite EWCM, CM.

We got some VCF foam, so hoping that will work, since I just CAN'T do condoms and my sex drive is...ahem...through the ROOF! No controlling it.

I didn't get a PPaf until 2 months after the kids weaned. Anna weaned at 22mos and Dominic weaned at 24mos. Sorry I know I didn't make your day just now...but most of the women I know that bf had periods return around 7-9 mos...if that makes you feel any better?

How did you not go crazy?! OMG, that would drive me absolutely nuts not having a period for 2 years.

I do think I am probably about to O. Still getting stretchy/watery/EWCM, which I NEVER get unless I am about to O, so hoping my body isn't just playing games!
