So long story short DH and I DTD yesterday w out any protection. Since I was only 7 CD and 1 day out of my period I thought it was more than okay...ubtil this morning when I woke up to over a whole degree jump in my temps:
(the very first temp should be thrown out bc it wasn't taken at my normal time)

I even re-temped bc I thought it had to be wrong. Is it possible to O this early in a cycle?!?! I also took an OPK which was negative, so now I'm just confused and worried. If that is O, that means I was Oing yesterday when we DTD.
Someone say something!!! ullshair:

Or is it normal for your temps to dip during your period and maybe they're just going back up after it??

I just started temping so Im dont know what is normal there- I do know that before I got pregnant with my DS I used to always ovulate around day 17, and my DH and I conceived him about one or two days after my period ended that cycle! I got a blazing positive pregnancy two weeks after my period ended (I had no idea I had ovulated but I was spotting and wasnt sure what was going on so I took a pregnancy test and voila!!!) Shock of my life!

I hope you get the results you want!

There was a line but it was super faint, so a very clear negative. However I sent a pic of it to my fellow JM friend who charted and temped to conceive her DS for 18 months and she said if I did O yesterday, then it is likely the OPK would be negative today. I just don't know what to think.

Thanks for the support ladies! I'm so confused and will now have this in the back of my head until AF arrives. We were wanting to TTC in a few months so I guess it wouldn't be a huge deal if we ended up with a BFP...but this was just not the ideal timing for us. :/ I haven't said a word to DH bc I don't want him to stress like I am for no reason if I'm just being overly-cautious. I'm headed to chart stalk the FF public charts now to see if this is normal...which I don't think it is.

It's possible to O that early, but you won't be able to tell until you get a few high temps in a row. Good luck!

Here's my temp/chart today:

Alright so
Maybe I jumped the gun a little sorry girls, I'm not usually one to "cry wolf" like that but I was freaking out! Lol. Hoping my temp stays low again tomorrow too. Still wondering why the sudden jump yesterday though?!?!

There can be any number of reasons. Maybe you didn't sleep well, or you were more covered up than you usually are. Or sometimes you just get a random temp in there. Glad it went back down!

Whew! Me too. Thank you all for the advise about it. Since this is only my second month temping (1st was when conceiving DS), I guess I'm still new to what my charts are capable of looking like. But that's why I'm doing this, to learn my cycles and body a bit better before TTC again. Next time, I won't freak out until I have 3 spiked temps in a row...then you'll see my charts back on here again...with probably more panick!
