Hi, My name is Holly and I am new to this board. I am 35 with 2 girls that are 4 and 2(will be in a few weeks anyway). DH and I are trying to decide right now if we are done or ready for #3.

DH said he would quit with the 2 wonderful kids we have if the decision were his to make alone, but that if I feel I need a 3rd or feel I will regret not having another that he will support me in the decision.

I am fairly certain I want a 3rd. I haven't been able to part with my baby stuff and I find myself looking up baby names. I know that things would be easier if we stuck at 2, but I guess the heart wants what it wants.

Our thought at the moment is we will hold off for 3 months to see if we can follow a budget having a 3rd would bring and go from there.

Days where my kids misbehave I wonder why in Haiti's I would every consider going down this path again, but other days I know in my heart that I won't be satisfied until I give it one more go.

I am open to any advise on helping make the decision.

i struggled with the same thing awhile ago and decided to go for it. i could tell you tons of reasons why we should but the the fact it feels right for us to have a third and i know its something we have to do cancels out all my reasons not to.

Welcome, Holly!! I know what you mean by saying with the tough days you wonder if you could handle another, but I think you're smart to give it some time to work out and go with what you think is best.
