in my other 2 sucessfull pgs i've had hypermisis which means i'm sick constantly allday every day from about 6 weeks till the end and it makes me feel dizzy and week in the first 16 weeks or so which is horriable. being ill these last few days have reminded me this. so now i'm gonna do lots of research in hope of finding something that will calm it down.
anyone know of anything normal things for sickness don't tend to work.

Michelle I was sick the whole time too. Not just feeling sick but actually throwing up-all the time. From about 6 or 7 weeks. I actually lost 20 pounds in the first 3 months because I just couldnt keep anything down. I tried EVERYTHING! And it didnt let up. They gave me a some meds and found one that worked, Zofran-same thing they give chemo patience for nausea. If I took it twice a day, I was ok. One night around 8 months, I fell asleep without taking the pill. Sure enough by 3 am I woke up puking... awful. When I got the epidural, I made them put the Zofran in there too. I was NOT willing to throw up while in labor!

Never been pregnant... praying I don't end up with wicked sickness... because if I can't eat, I'll be running to a doctor for medication. I get awful migraines if I don't eat.. and since I can't medicate the migraines as needed (I'm pretty sure 2 800mg Aleve is a no no during pregnancy) they'll have to treat the sickness.

lol lucky you! My mom was in the hospital for them every single week. At one point they had to give her shots around her eyes! ( I don't remember exactly why, but it was during a migraine)
I had awful headaches when I got pregnant with the twins... horrible horrible since all I could take was tylenol, which doesn't work for me. I'll be one of those who will have to take the good drugs, because the risk outweighs me putting an ice pick into the side of my skull.

Yeah, Id have traded my throwing up the whole time for my prior migraines. (Mine were bad, but never had to make a hospital trip bad) Throwing up is kind of a phobia of mine... Its pretty close to the last think Id like to do

yup, i hate being sick. when I had the kidney stone I made dh take me to urgent care for nausea meds. I wasn't eating cause of the nausea, which made me feel even sicker! Thanks to the nausea med I was peachy keen. It'll be what I request if I need a morning sickness med.

wow, i've heard of it, but I personally did not experience it. I hear its crazy aweful and sometimes a lady can end up with an at home IV pumping meds 24/7!!
Yikes, I lucked out...I had nausea as my morning sickness and it got progressively worse through out the day to the point that by the time I home from work, I'd take my prenatal and go to bed, since the pill also made me even more nauseous! Going to bed was my cure for 8 hours, and then it'd start all over again. Pretty much m/s was gone by 2nd trimester but every once in a while the prenatal pill would still make me want to heave.

I had hyperemesis with all 3 pregnancies. I was hospitalized several times for dehydration. I litteraly threw up every single day until I delivered and it was a rare day that I only threw up once..mostly it was 3-5 times a day. Totally worth it though. Totally worth it.
I had just started accupuncture before I lost Kayden and that was really helpful, actually. I plan to do it again next time. I took zofran and phenergan but they carried with them a whole new set of problems. I don't plan to use them next time. B6 does help a teeeny tiny little bit....just a smidge. But ANYTHING was better than nothing so I took it! lol
