Pretty much sounds like my wardrobe. If it doesn't match what I already own in entirety I don't purchase it. I have my staples. Black/charcol dress pants. Black leggings (they're yoga pants, but I'm fat..), jeans. Then a multitude of tops that can be paired with a dress shirt for an interview, or my work out gear to sweat in. I have my sweaters for over top, dress shirts.. but everything can be worn together.

The exception is my wedding clothes, the stuff I bought for new orleans. The shirt can go with dress pants, or my yoga pants with a sweater or shirt over top, but it cannot go as work out gear because it has lace and would eat me alive. the skirt needs a specific shirt to work well, my usual tops would fail that job. and the little over shirt.. well once it fits again it will work with casual and dressy.

Saves me a lot of frustration when I look for an outfit. I'm not likely to say "I have nothing to wear with this!" but I could be likely to say "i have nothing clean to wear with this!" LOL

adding. I don't do accessories.. yet. Once I have some of my weight off I will lavish myself in belts and scarves.

It makes life much easier. Especially if you can get more than one day out of a pair of pants. When I worked in an office I had 3 pair of dress pants, 5 tops and 5 shirts.. I never wore the same outfit twice in a two week period, I was always swapping them up.

I'd love accessories. Belts and scarves, maybe some headbands... but a-I'm a SAHW, what the heck would I do with them. B- I don't want to draw attention to my belly

I require way too many options to slim down and simplify my wardrobe. In fact, I always feel like I have "nothing" to wear! Yes, I'm that girl!

Girlie if I was cute and tiny like you are I probably would be too! There just only so much that fits this body that doesn't make me look like a whale!

I bought my first ever pair of leggings tonight... and I didn't buy them for fashion, I'd look like a sausage! I bought them to help keep my thighs from rubbing together.
