Nothing does. I get through them because I have no choice but to.

What helps me is looking around & realizing there is still a lot we need to do for our family before we add on. I had both kids while working on my Undergraduate degree & working over 40 hours. I don't want to do that again lol. Since we had our kids young, we are now trying to figure out our careers, buying a house, etc. There are times though when i'm irrational & want to ttc but dh starts breaking down what all we need before that happens & then i come to my senses lol

Knowing we are going to Disneyland in 3 months! I dont want to be more than a few weeks pregnant there, and also that I need to find a job to get Mat leave to get my 600 hours so I qualify and I cant start work until May.

I try and focus on the things I can do to make the pregnancy, birth and life after wards as best as possible. For example, I try and put my efforts into working out, eating healthy and saving money. I also love just day dreaming about the pregnancy and having the baby in my arms...sometimes thinking about it is all that gets me through the tough waiting times..

We just booked a cruise for the beginning of May. That alone will keep my impulses at bay bc I don't want to be pregnant while we're on our first baby-free vacation (besides our honeymoon). Although if we got pregnant while on our cruise, that'd be neat, since that trip will be our TTC kick off!
