Where will you be going?
When are you planning it for?
Is it to see family?
Have you been there before?

We are planning on going to Dallas at the end of May to see family. My sister is graduating Highschool and my mom will have graduated College just before that so we are going to celebrate with them.
We'll be spending about five-six days out there. We're really looking forward to it.

Yep! We're planning a few trips actually.
1. Estes Park, CO (about 1.5 hours from where we live)
June 8-10
No family - we're going for Rocky Mountain Brew Fest - a beer festival with Colorado craft brewers, live music, good times!
Yep, we go every year for the brew fest, and then take a few other day trips up as well.
2. Moab, Utah
Aug 31-Sept 4
No family - just a trip DH and I take every Labor Day. Moab is famous for its mountain biking, so DH rides the crazy trails while I do the easier ones, we hike, do Humvee trips, and chill out at the B&B where we stay, just relaxing.
Yep, went in 2010 and 2011
ETA: The pic in my siggy is actually from Moab last year.
3. Playa del Carmen, Mexico
Oct 26-Nov 3
No family - celebrating our 5-year wedding anniversary!
Nope - I've been to other parts of Mexico like a million years ago, but this will be a new experience for both DH and me.

Congrats to the both of them! My oldest graduates high school June 7th. I still can't fathom that he will be 18 in a matter of days! I remember him being a baby just yesterday!

How nice! You'll be able to reminisce about your old neighborhood. I hope you have a nice time!

Sounds like so much fun! I used to love riding my bike all over, but that was a long time ago!

5 years, congrats! My dh and I just celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary in January and still have yet to even take a honeymoon. I guess we will have to wait until all the kids are grown-up before we can go!

Simone: Moab is beautiful! If you ever get the chance to go, I highly recommend it. The trails DH rides are above my ability (and I make him promise not to make me a widow, lol), but I love the easier trails. There's just so much to do in Moab!

Thanks! And haha, I gotcha about waiting til the kids are grown - my in-laws married young (18/19), and didn't take a honeymoon, but in 2007 went to Hawaii for a cruise for their 25th-wedding anniversary. DH and I also went to Hawaii for our honeymoon- I love to travel, and since we're planning to TTC in November-ish, we thought one last hurrah would be a good thing to do. (Not gonna lie, I'm kinda hoping for a anniversary baby, haha.)

We don't get many options for vacations because of his skin. We can't go anywhere hot. Or anywhere that is known to have water borne illnesses. We did get married in New Orleans and visited the coast of Mississippi in Biloxi... and if it hadn't been almost October we'd have died of heat stroke (he only sweats in a small handful of places).
So I'm more than content to go home for 3 weeks. We will do two, maybe 3 more of these trips, and then I'll have to be content with a week or two each year via plane while we do a larger trip in the US as a family with an occasional trip to Canada.

Where will you be going? On a cruise to Mexico that will port out of New Orleans, LA!
When are you planning it for? The end of this month, so excited!!
Is it to see family? No! It will be our first trip away from DS so I'm anxious about that, but excited bc we need this time to focus on DH and I. We are also going with another couple who are good friends of ours.
Have you been there before? I've been on several cruises but have never been to New Orleans and never been to Mexico, so this will be a new adventure!

Well my next trip will probably be to Hawaii. I have had the Hawaiian Airline miles card for 7 years now and I finally have enough points for two round trip tickets. No plans made yet but I definatly want to go before baby #3. Hard to find anyone to watch 3 kids for a week.
