when will you start eating healthy before ttc,while ttc, while pg or not at all?

I gained a lot of weight a few years ago and am now beginning to eat healthier and excercise before pregnancy. I would like to be in good shape BMI wise and be more physically fit before getting pregnant.
I have always heard that healthy moms=healthy babies so I should do what I can to be healthy now.

I've never had really BAD eating habits, but I'm definitely trying to focus on getting the right nutrition now (so that's before TTCing), and I'll continue that through pregnancy and the rest of my life.

I try to make healthy choices all the time, but i do allow treats every once and a while, and during pregnancy i dont restrict what i eat

I get on health kicks and then fall off and gain a few pounds. I started last Monday on a health kick and have lost 4 lbs so far. I would like to lose another 15 and maintain that weight until I get pregnant. I really do enjoy eating healthy but it's so much easier to eat prepared food since DH isn't home in the evenings to eat with us. Also, I really like beer. lol

I already do eat healthy, it is part of our lifesyle and a big value for us. Pretty much all foods here are already organic and most have 5 ingredients or less (except for sauces but 99% of it is vegtables with a little oil and water), and everything is fresh.

I'm trying to eat healthier now, but man it is so hard! I just had some cheese- its because my twins are eating them.

We eat pretty healthy anyway. I really stepped it up a notch while pregnant and I'm trying to keep that up since I'm nursing.

I think it's probably establish healthy routines before you're trying. One of the reasons I'm waiting is so I can get some good habits in place so it's easier to be healthier while and after I'm trying.
