Hi all! My name is Kelley I am a mom to 3 beautiful boys ages 9,7, and 6 and we are planning to try to concieve one more later this year I am a little nervous because with my boys I got pregnant fast and had really easy pregnancies. I did have a csection with all of them so I am nervous about whether my doc will want to do a 4th section. I am also 34 and have stage 1 hypertension which I did not have to deal with on my other pregnancies. I go to the ob friday to discuss all these concerns. I am so nervous about not getting the news I want to hear I have an IUD so I am planning on having that removed and then getting my cycle regular so we can try in the fall. So glad to have some people to talk to about this. We are not telling our family because we really dont want to hear their 2 cents Thanks in advance.

Welcome! I had c-sections with my two as well. I'm feeling a little more worried about having another one if we choose too but I have heard of tons of people with 3 + c-sections.

I agree with you about not wanting to hear opinions from your family, I feel the same about mine lol

and GL at the doctors! I know doctors worry about scar tissue from previous csec and the uterine wall being weak in spots to carry a baby, but I don't know first hand. All my kids were vaginal deliveries even my twins.

Hope you got good news

I'm 36 and just had my first baby a few months ago. I'm pretty sure no matter where you are in life or what kind of shape you are in mentally or physically, pregnancy will still make you worry and drive you crazy. lol

Welcome! I don't have any human kids yet, but I do have a super complicated health history, so I can sympathize with you. I hope your doctor's visit went well - I had a preconception visit with a high-risk OB last month, and it actually put a lot of my worries to rest, so I hope the same happened for you!

My doctors visit went great He sees no reason why we can't try for #4 He said that it is not his job to tell us how many kids we can have but to prepare us and take care of me and baby He said that a 4th csection does pose risks but so does the 1st, 2nd and 3rd. He was great!! He also said that since my BP is controlled on meds it should not be a major issue. We will just monitor it So now we are officially waiting to conceive!! Come on August
