We played this game on the attachment parenting board and it was a lot of fun.

Basically, you ask a would you ever question then the person below you answers, then posts a new question.

Make sense? I'll start

Would you ever be a surrogate?

Yes, I'd be honored to do that for some good friends or family if they ever had issues getting pregnant. I think it'd be much harder for a stranger and not getting emotionally attached :/

Would you ever be a milk nurse?

Yes, and I offered to for my friend a few yrs ago since I was babysitting her newborn but she said no.

My DH was wetnursed as an infant by his mom's friend. He told some people that recently and they were mortified

Would you ever adopt?

Did for 15 months and plan to do so with Next Baby. Our plan was to use the Arm's Reach cosleeper for the first few months, transfer DD to her crib in our room until a year. We quickly found that bed-sharing was the only way any of us was getting any sleep an we learned to deal with it. It terrified me at first. I slept with DD's little head in the pocket of my shoulder and didn't dare move for the first month. I won't be nearly as terrified next time . We shared a bed completely until DD was about a year. Then we started putting her down in her crib in her room and bringing her to bed when she woke up a few hours later. She climbed out of her crib at 14 months (!), forcing us to move her to a big girl bed a little (a lot) earlier than planned. Gradually she started sleeping in her room longer and longer until she started STTN (with some gently prodding by having DH sleep with her in her room) around 18 months.

WYE adopt an older pet? (thought's been on my mind)

Nope (scared of heights)

Would you pay $2000-$4000 to fix a torn ligament in your dog's leg? (Other option is trying to control pain...)

Yes. The only times we've not paid for treatment for our pets was when the prognosis wasn't very good. If it was absolutely unaffordable, I'd do whatever I could to fix it.

Would you ever start your own business?

I would like to maybe someday. I would like to open a natural parenting store. My friend is a birth photographer, doula, and offers placenta encapsulation so it maybe nice to open a store that also offers her services.

WYE donate your eggs?

I think we (Kyle and I) would really have to sit and talk about it. We might but I think we may go the adoption route, but I cant say for sure.

WYE hire a housekeeper?

Never. I'm not that brave. And I really like the memories I make with others while I am vacationing. I have also learned that trips with my girlfriends are way better than trips with my husband.

Would you ever enter your child in a beauty pageant?

I'd let her if she really wanted to but I'd never go out and enter her myself.

WYE move back in with your parents?
