Would you like to adopt or be a foster family?

I don't really think either are for me. If I couldn't have bio kids, then definitely but I don't think I would add onto my family through adoption now. I would, however, LOVE to be a surrogate.

I would love to! But DH isn't into it at all. And I wouldn't be interested in it until my kids are a bit older.

I would adopt if we could ever afford it. I would love to foster, but I think it'd be hard for me to follow all the state rules about not disciplining the foster kids that we have. THat's the only reason my parents didn't foster.

I would do both if the opportunity arose. At the moment we don't have the room, nor financials needed to do either. Hopefully in the future before we're too old.

I have actually considered this especially if we never have a daughter biologically. But this is something I would do when we are closer to 40. I would definatly be open to bringing an older girl 3-12 into our family. I would love to have a daughter and to give a child a second chance at having a good family and a permanant place to call home.

I don't think either are for me and my family. But I totally respect anyone who do!

Since my husband was a foster child we would eventually love to be a foster family.

We have actually talked about this. We would love to adopt. There are so many children that need loving homes. Like a PP said, this is something that we would look into once we were hovering around 40 or so and our children were at least teens. We have thought about adopting an older child. They have the roughest time finding homes and it's extremely sad that so many great children get "passed up" because the are potty trained and can talk.

I would rather adopt, but DH is against it. His family adopted his cousin and that didn't go well.
