Saturday I went into town so the kids could see their Dad for a whole half hour, then I went home, put them down for a nap and watched a horror movie with my step daughter... her choice lol. Then I got ready and went out for dinner and cocktails with my best friends (one who lives 6 hours away and we hadn't seen in 13 months). On Sunday it was Fathers day so I cooked up a big meal of eggs, bacon, sausages, baked beans, toast etc. We all ate and then we went outside since the weather is just amazing right now and rolled around on the grass playing with the kids for a few hours, came back inside and watched a movie, did a little housework then I took the kids in to the park and Loz went to this cook up thing he and his friends do the first Sunday of every month. Kids and I did grocery shopping and grabbed dinner, came home and yeah... that was our weekend
Emma, girlfriend of Loz, future step-mama to J (15) and K (10), Mama to Jaelah (8), Oliver (6), Mianna (4) and Harper (2),
Um. I slept, lol. Actually yesterday was spent ALL DAY waiting for the Fed Ex delivery truck. It finally arrived at 5:30. I was sooo mad. UPS is so much better and usually delivers between 11-2. Since when did Amazon switch to using Fed Ex?!
Today I went grocery shopping (OUCH!) and made some vegan ranch dressing (which IMO is more like a veggie dip cause its so thick).
We went to the Taste of Colorado today. DF bought me a necklace and an EpicMealTime shirt. And I revamped the rats' cage and moved it back into the living room (I've been sleeping out here since it has the big window and is cooler) so it's fun to have them right next to me while I sleep.
Ry, happily engaged to Zach.
Mom to Bodhi, Brigham, and Elliott.
