So I have been calling and calling trying to set up an appt for my annual. I was hoping to get my annual in before we started ttc, but they wont let me cause last year my annual was Jan 25th. So I have to have it exactly a year later or insurance wont cover it. BS! Anyway, so now my annual is the 28th and I'm expecting my period like the NEXT day! Well, if I'm lucking it will get pushed back, but I'm not holding my breath too long. IF its early I will have to reschedule since my periods are soooo heavy.

Should I just call in December and tell them about my short luteal phase? Its been about 7 days since AF returned last Feb. Well, except last mo it was 10, but I'm not entirely certain how accurate O day was since I was out camping and on vacation and my temps were far from accurate. It could have very well have been closer to 7 days...

Oh how frustrating!! I would maybe play it by ear and just change it closer to the day.

My insurance is the same way. I would keep it scheduled as is and make changes if necessary.

Are you able to leave messages for your doctor and/or their nurse inquiring about your LP? See if they can suggest anything or if they think you need to come in.

I am more concerned about the short LP and delaying getting pregnant. I wanted to discuss this with her at my appt but if she wants me to do any testing or anything then it will throw my ttc/pregnancy timeframe off. Should I just call in Dec and ask for some testing or wait and see if she just out right gives me some clomid or progesterone for the LPD...?

With baby #2 They did my annual WHILE I was pregnant, that was annoying. But the most annoying part of it was that somehow, I have NO idea how it happened, but they had no record of the first one they did and had to do it AGAIN!

I argued with them for so long and there was no record in the chart, no lab record, nothing! They kept trying to tell me it didn't happen and I was like, well I don't know what the heck she was doing up there then, because you definitely don't forget those!
THE angry uterus likes this.

OMG, when I was pg this last time they keep saying that I had a pap done and I did NOT have a pap cause I declined it. I don't know if they got my name on someone else's pap, but I KNOW I didn't have one! Then they wouldn't do it when I was due for one (closer to the end of the PG) and said it wasn't "accurate" at that time anyway. So I had to wait and reschedule it and of course they canceled the appt once at least, maybe even twice! So I was due in May, then they said I had had one in Dec (which I didn't) and it got pushed back to the end of Jan...
