How long have you decided to wait? about 6 months
Are you making any preparations.. like buying baby furniture? No. Once we start TTC, we may buy a few of the more expensive items. But its too hard to buy anything right now.
Do you already have the names picked out? Well for a boy, it will be Nathan Louis after his grandfather, no exceptions.
The girl names I am toying with are Ava, Emma, Chloe, and Cyrine. The middle name will be Rose after his mother.
Will you be TTC a specific gender? Yes we will be doing everything we can to TTC a Boy.
What are your reasons for waiting? Do you have a list, or is there something specific? I do have a very specific list of things to accomplish before TTC. In the past while TTC, these things came up frequently, and caused unneccessary stress for us.
Why did you choose the length of time, you chose? 6 months is a sample time limit, it really depends on how long to complete these things.
How long have you been waiting so far? Well we have been TTC off and on for 7 yrs. I have had 2 m/c's.. it has been 3 yrs since the last one. And about a yr since TTC.
What is the hardest thing about waiting to TTC for you? Watching all my friends and family around me getting pregnant and having babies. I am at about the age where my peers are getting married and starting their families.
Do you and DH/SO agree on how long you should wait? Well we agree on "the list". DH thinks its silly that I wrote everything down, he thinks we should just wait until "we're ready". But when is anyone ever READY for a baby? Thats why I made the list!
How long have you decided to wait? Indefinately...as soon as we can start

What are your reasons for waiting? Do you have a list, or is there something specific? We just need to move into a place of our own
Why did you choose the length of time, you chose? we are just hampered by failing to get something that we both like

What is the hardest thing about waiting to TTC for you? Seeing my waiting buddy preggers (sorry Jenn ) and also knowing that I want this so so much, but I have to wait till we are settled.
Do you and DH/SO agree on how long you should wait? No, he wants us to start as soon as possible and i really want us to start when we are settled, but a part of me is hoping for an oopsy
How long have you decided to wait? We are waiting until July 08' to start trying. It can always change though..
Are you making any preparations.. We are not buying anything for the baby yet. I don't think we would do that until we are pregnant. But, I'm doing things to prepare my body: exercise, eat healthy, take a multivitamin, and I have a preconception visit.
Do you already have the names picked out? Yes, but that can always change too. For a girl I really love Lucinda and for a boy Oliver. Middle names will be my grandparents names.
Will you be TTC a specific gender? No, I don't really feel that trying for a specific gender works.
What are your reasons for waiting? Do you have a list, or is there something specific? Although I would welcome a "surprise" pregnancy, I feel to scared to take the plunge at this time. I would like a little more time before trying. Also, I want to save money for a baby and we want to pay off the little debt we have before trying.
Why did you choose the length of time, you chose? We feel that we will be more financially prepared in July of 08'. Also, I started a new job in Sept. 06'. I would like to work here for at least a year before becoming pregnant. In July of 08' I will have almost been working for the company for two years.
How long have you been waiting so far? We started talking about having a baby a little over a year ago. We KNEW that at that time it was going to be awhile. We just realized that it's something we want to do. Previously I never wanted to have children.
What is the hardest thing about waiting to TTC for you? It's not that hard. But when I come on JM every day and read about having a baby etc..it does make it seem a long time off before we try. Also, I'm the kind of person that wants things NOW when I decide that I want something. I can be impatient!
Do you and DH/SO agree on how long you should wait? [/b] DH doesn't really say much about ttc. He always says when the time is right..or when we are in our 30's. I'm okay with what he says because I feel the same way. We are 28 & 29 years old so we don't have too much longer.[/b][/b]
How long have you decided to wait? Well we are waiting til this summer (2007), but it could be delayed, it could also be earlier. It all depends on how our situation will be.
Are you making any preparations.. like buying baby furniture? We are buying baby clothes and baby items, yes. I'm also trying to eat better.
Do you already have the names picked out? Yes, our son will be named Noah, and for a girl we have Anais, Maélie, Océane and Sophia.

What are your reasons for waiting? Do you have a list, or is there something specific? Well, SO is from another country so he needs to move here first.
Why did you choose the length of time, you chose? Because maybe this summer we'll be all settled and know exactly where we're going.
How long have you been waiting so far? Hmm, we started talking about trying to conceive, since summer 2006, so so far it's been 6 months.
What is the hardest thing about waiting to TTC for you? Just wanting to create that life with my SO
Do you and DH/SO agree on how long you should wait? Yes, although we wished we could TTC earlier.

Do you already have the names picked out? For a girl we are hoping for Kayley (my mom's name is Hayley) Serena (my middle name). For a boy Curtis (Dh's dad who raised him last name) James (DH's middle name)

What are your reasons for waiting? Do you have a list, or is there something specific? I am still BFing my 13 month old. I would also like for Annika to be potty trained and out of diapers before we have another.
Why did you choose the length of time, you chose? Potty training.

What are your reasons for waiting? Do you have a list, or is there something specific? No REALLY specific reason why. I want to lose some weight, which I am doing. We just feel that the fall is a good time. And I want a summer baby! Silly reasons why!

Are you making any preparations.. like buying baby furniture? Nope.. We juat had our 2nd daughter last february so we have pretty much all we need

Why did you choose the length of time, you chose? out first two daughters are 5 years apart and we really like that age gap.. so we are aiming for that gap again.
How long have you been waiting so far? since our 2nd was born pretty much. SO and I agreed at her birth that we would wait at the very lest 3 years to TTC the next child.

How long have you been waiting so far? We've only seriously started talking about it so about a month. Not long.
What is the hardest thing about waiting to TTC for you? Just going through the whole experience with BF. He's great with my son and I know that he's going to make an amazing father.
Do you and DH/SO agree on how long you should wait? I only laugh because we both go back and forth on it. We agree that we should wait until I've moved there so he can be there for the entire thing, but we both want it to happen sooner than that. But yeah, we agree.

Are you making any preparations.. like buying baby furniture? I've been saving everything from DS#1 that is still in good condition.
Do you already have the names picked out? Not really...I have a couple of girl names that I like though. Maggie Jane or Mollie Jane.

How long have you decided to wait? 3 months! We will start in April of this year.
Are you making any preparations.. like buying baby furniture? Eek, I totally want to, but I'm holding back. 1 month prior to starting I'm going to start taking folic acid, and starting tonight I'm going to work on cardio and my tummy muscles

Just waiting until DH is settled into his new job, and waiting until his 90 days are up until we get our new and better insurance. That's the big one for us. I want to give birth in a certain hospital, which isnt the one under our current policy.

I enjoy taking each step of life as it comes, and I've always known that I wanted to be a mother, so I want to experience it sooner rather than later.
Do you and DH/SO agree on how long you should wait? Well, I would lean towards starting now, because I'm know that I most likely won't get pg on the first try. That being said, 3 months is a good time and it allows me the opportunity to prepare more and get a few things in order.
