Jeeze, it must be going around!

I went online to check my statement, and I had a charge that i didnt make! for $116!!! wow! So i call to check it out, its for "web hosting" I have no idea what that is, if anybody does could you fill me in. But the guy was really nice and cancelled it for me, then told me to call the credit card co! So i call them and cancel my card, and they are sending me a new one but gosh!

grrrrrrr...im just glad it is getting taken care of!

UGH! Glad you caught it in time, though. Just a suggestion, order your credit report so you can see if there's anything else fishy going on out there.

Good idea Lauren -- Annual Credit Report You can go there and get your free credit report... it's 100% free and you can order it from all 3 of the major ones, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to just get one and then check it every 4 months to monitor things.

That really sucks, its such a hassle getting new cards and stuff, but I can't imagine what a HUGE ordeal it would be to have your identity stolen! Glad you caught it in time!
