I went for my weekly appointment with my MFM on thursday. He had already told me when he released me the week before that if there was any cervical changes I would be admitted until the birth. I had been having some pain off and on but nothing overwhelming. Although that week i did have alot of greenish discharge. When the MFM examined me he immediately looked worried. Turned out I was 3 cm, completely thinned out and I had lost the mucus plug, and had buldging membraines. He told me that he couldn't give me a time frame I might go into labour that night or could go weeks. He wanted to admitt me but said if labour progressed they wouldn't stop it. I wanted to go home because i figured if they weren't going to stop it what was the point in sitting in the hospital. I signed a waiver and planned to go home get some things and then come back that night. I was waiting in the lobby for my dad for about an hour when my contractions started hitting still not very strong and only when I sat down. I decided not to go all the way home but my dad drove me for groceries becasue still figured I would be in for weeks. When I got back to the hosptial I went to Triage and contractions were constant and I had continued to dialate. So off to a c-section I went. About 3 hours later. At 9:44 and 9:45 babies A and B were born. B was struggling for a bit but they are both doing really good now.
The boys are doing really well. B has improved since recieving the surfactant shot and is now on Cpap. A is still on Cpap but they think he will be off tonight or tomorrow. A was able to feed 8 cc's through his feeding tube, I don't know yet what B was able to take. They are both on Antibiotics, and both begining to look jaundice still waiting for bloodwork to return. Over all though they are doing great.
Yes still calling the A and B as I have not picked out names yet. Hoping to have decided by tonight.
I am doing ok. I was better this morning and have had a bit of a set back but I am ok and the pain is not too bad.
I am on my moms laptop and turns out I can't upload photos on it as there is no port to put the memory card in. I will be sure to add photos when I am able to get home probably monday or tuesday.

Congrats girl! I can't wait to meet them this summer (provided you still plan to come to PEI)! Also, I think it is funny that you were the first, since you started the topic on who will go first, lol! I can't wait to see pics as well!
