Beck's post on having fun got me thinking about another incident on the boat.
Now some of you will likely not take this the way i did, after all, they were sort of stealing, but it does illustrate something about having fun.
We were in the first class section, not to sound snobby, I save supermarket points and got our entire ferry trip for £18 round trip, and first class is a lot more comfortable with reserved seats and free snacks and drinks. Free drinks does include wine.
Well the door got left open for a bit and two women were delightedly sneaking back and forth helping themselves to glasses of wine before hurrying back to their own seats in coach. They were walking arm in arm, and giggling quite a bit with what they were getting away with, and in general carrying on like a pair of teenagers. They were well into their pension years and dressed very much like prim and proper ladies. But watching the spring in their steps and their laughter, I thought, I hope I still know how to have that much fun at their age
Fun and laughter keep you young.
