Well last month I decided to start a local meetup group for Attachment Parenting. The reason being is I had joined a few of the local moms meetup group and just didn't fit in well at all. I always felt like I didn't belong and everyone thought I was weird...lol...
We have our first meetup on Monday at my house and I am sooo nervous. I have been trying to clean like mad...My house isn't dirty or anything but I always feel pressure when strangers come to the house.
What kind of things would you like to see from a local group in your area??
That's funny... I have been looking into them in my area this bast week. One group is Cloth diapering/baby wearing the other is AP. I haven't met any of them yet.
I would worry too much about your house. Just pick up and dust. Deep cleaning shouldn't matter Don't stress too much over it.... I am sure you will all have a blast!

If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
That sounds like so much fun. I have been getting together with a couple Moms in my area but they are not AP. I find myself not telling them how I parent. I feel like they won't understand or think I'm doing everything very wrong. I do attend a monthly cloth diapering get together and they are more AP.
If there was a local group in my area I would be happy just getting together once per month to have a playdate and talk.
