21 months next week! We're down to once or twice a day and he eats a lot of solids. I'm just stoked we made it this far!

Still EBF with just about zero pumped bottles. He pretty much refuses bottles right now.... which is fine. I don't go back to work for 5 or 6 weeks. I am going to start solids around 6 months or so. His doctor said to start at 4 months....ummm...nope! I just weighed the little tankster.... he is 15lbs 6oz with nothing on....before a feeding. He is 3months old. LOL I love my chunky boy

Bella and I hit the 6 month mark on Thursday! We do cereal occasionally. She does get bottles of EBM while I am at work and does great with it. Pumping is going well for me.

Congrats to everyone for their BFing milestones!!! Great job to everyone for BFing!!!

I've been breastfeeding Abigail for almost 3 years, and 5 months of tandem nursing with Anna.

About 3 1/2 months here. I actually counted nursing sessions the other day, just for fun. She nursed 15 times in 24 hours.

How are things going? Great.
Is your LO eating solids yet? Yes. We started at 6 months old.

17 months and counting! It is rough at times to nurse since I am extremely sensitive but we just trudge on through. It is worth the pain for her to get her "me!" I am due July 21st and hoping to tandem the two until Leila is ready to wean at her own discretion.

Leila eats 3 meals a day with snacks 1-2 times a day. She is preferring the booby milk to meals these days though!

we've bf'd since birth (9/20/08)...started solids just barely before six months...but just here and there....she still doesn't get them ALL the time....just to practice eating...not really for nutrition...she still nurses a lot!

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

BFing for over 8 months here, but also supplementing. I did well pumping at work until about 6 months, when my supply started to seriously decline. Was getting just 4-5 oz total per day near the end. We nurse in the morning, at lunch time (I visit him at daycare), before bed, and once in the middle of the night. He gets formula when we aren't together. Hard decision, but glad that we are still BFing as often as we are!

Almost 20 months! I have introduced some "rules" in the last while that have cut down on the CONSTANT daytime nursing when we are at home (like, anytime I was sitting down he was grabbing, tugging, begging). We only nurse about 3-4 times in a 24 hour period now, with the morning wake up nurse being the only constant one. I have a feeling that that one will be the last to go and I don't mind. It's nice.

Bobbie, he sounds like my little guy. Owen just had his 3 month appt and he is sitting at 16pds already.

We are at 3months and still going. No bottle for this little guy and I'm still debating if I want to pump and have DH feed him or not. We bf'd with Connor until he was almost 3, so we will see how long Owen will want to feed for.

We've been breastfeeding for 6 weeks, and he is doing great. He's gaining weight well and is an excellent eater. I feed him on demand and he eats a lot in the day and sleeps 3-5 hours at a time at night.
