Yes, but we only use it while we are in the basement and Lincoln is sleeping on the top floor in his room. We couldn't hear him crying from the basement when he wakes up if we didn't use the monitor. We don't use it at night because our room is close to his and I can hear him immediately. We only started using it when he was 8 month when we transitioned him to crib.

We still use one before Mona comes to our bed at night. We would not hear her when we are downstairs unless she's completely wailing, and of course we want to get to her room before then! I suppose we'll use it until she's old enough to get out of bed, come downstairs and ask for us.

We have two actually, and used them when Billy was starting to sleep in his own room, one so we could hear him if he started to wake and the second so he could hear us tell him we were coming upstairs to him. Never used them with a baby though as I always kept the baby in the same part of the house as me.
I think they could be fun to play with the kids are older too.

We use one when Ben is sleeping upstairs before I go to bed, else I wouldn't hear him wake up.

Yep. We use one in DD(4yo) room and DS (1yo) room even though only takes naps in his room...he still sleeps in our room at night.

I am really nutty about monitors. I keep them on full blast so I can hear my children breathing.

Nope, in the beginning I checked frequently on her. I would have done that even if I had had a monitor. Now she sleeps through the evenings. Even if our place is on two floors I hear her quite easily.

Yes for the times he is in his crib since its usually when we are downstairs... We bought the angelcare monitor that monitors breathing bc I have had a cousin die of SIDS and I am terrified of it. That thing gave me sooo much peace in the beginings and it did actually go off once when he was about 2-3 weeks old and we ran to him to find him breathing extremely shallow so we woke him up.

We've never used them. I do think they would be fun to play with though! I've always loved walkie talkies

I have 2, one in Abby's room and one in ours. We have 4 cats, and I'm paranoid about the girls waking eachother up in the night, so I keep the doors closed on both of our rooms. During the day, we move the monitor to her room if we put her down for a nap in there.

No, our house is small and you can hear him from any of the rooms.
