Sorry! Know I've gone in lurker mode for awhile but...

I'm finding my Sleepy Wrap annoying and my Hot Sling very uncomfortable. Can ya'll rec a good wrap or carrier that can be formed to hip-carry (hehe I'ma Southern lady of course)?

She's 30lbs now, so somthing that can last and be comfortable for me.

Thanks!

I use the hiphammock and really likes it

Hip Hammock® Infant Carrier : Hip Hammock® - Playtex Baby

But that once only goes to about 35lbs i think

ERGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its good for any position, we still use it for my 3 year old and I hiked over a mile with my 48 pound injured nephew in it last summer. Ours is 3 yrs old still looks beautiful and will be used for the new baby for as many years. Well worth the investment. It is also INCREDABLY comfortable.

I have to second the Ergo....but I've never used it in the hip position---you can though

I would think that once she gets any more weight on her its going to be terrible on your back to continue with a hip carry anyways so you will need a very supportive carrier KWIM?
Thebabywearer.com & diaperswappers have a FSOT section where you can buy second hand ones.....no need to pay full price for one

I do use my ring sling for Parker still in a hip carry so that is always an option...he will no longer fit in my hotsling.
