I chose explain becuz 12 months wasnt an option..

that was my goal..and now that its almost here (the 18th!) i feel like i will take it until she wouldnt be getting a bottle.. so i plan on being ok with BFing until shes 18 months..but by the time 18 months i might change my mind again and go with til 2.. but as of right now im thinking 18 months will be the cut off time..

I said a few months.

My goal was 6 weeks, then 6 months, and we've just kept going because of her health.

I just can't picture BF her still after she's 2. I am still not comfortable with that.

I'm too lazy to wean
My goal has been CLW since before I got pregnant. I'm hoping she'll go at least 2-4 years.

I chose child led weaning....My original goal was 12 months...but now that we've made it that far I can't see stopping for any reason other than her being through with it.

I'm not sure I'd nurse past 3 but I dont know! LOL....Anyway...CLW for us

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

I weaned Kailey at 15mths because I had to work. Looks like I'll have to go to work next fall so Nola will be about 18mths. I'm happy with the decision. If I was able to go longer I would, but I can't and I'm ok with that - I'm happy with the amount that I will be able to attain.

I voted child led, although that has already happened for us. Lily refused to nurse starting when I was about 6 weeks pregnant with Baby #2. She would fight me and pull off and run away. She didn't even want to comfort nurse. We made it to 12.5 months and I'm happy with that. I would have loved to go a lot longer, but Lily didn't want anything to do with breastfeeding after I got pregnant.

We are currently at 6 months and my goal is 8 months... if we make it (I have no doubt we will) then I will set a new goal based on how we are doing :-)
