If your baby did this, when did they outgrow it?

She has been doing it consistently for months now. I feel like I am constantly putting her back to bed. (I worry that she is not getting enough sleep so I always try to nurse her back down when she wakes. Works once in a while)

My DD did that because she was a terrible sleeper. DS will wake up after a half an hour sometimes, usually if his sister wakes him up. If he's awake and happy, I'll leave him wherever he is (usually the swing) and about half the time he'll go back to sleep if he doesn't see me, especially if it's his "long nap" time. He takes a half hour nap in the evening but I know that one is gonna be short.

my son did this too, but more like 45min naps.
at night, i can put him in the crib for a few hours before i go to bed (we cosleep) and he sleeps alone fine, but during the day, he's such a light sleeper i did get the point where i'm with him for naps because he really was sleeping so terribly at night that i had make sure he was sleeping during the day. he's not the best sleeper, but if i can get those naps in him during the day, he sleeps longer (3hour) stretches at night....which might not seem like a lot, but for me it's bliss.
so if i have to nap with him or be with him for naps, i'm going to do it. he usually naps twice a day now and about 2-3 hours total.

DD did not take a "real" nap until she was 9 months old! until then, it was really short (10-20 min) cat naps all day long.

I actually don't remember how Liam napped as a young baby. But with Kieran we do the 30-minute naps. I just try to make sure he gets at least 4-5 of them during the day. I notice he sleeps better at night when he gets longer than 2 hours of daytime sleep. There is not much I can do to get him to sleep longer at a stretch though. So I just put him down more often. I think she will outgrow it. Although I can't promise anything. Chances are when she gets older and more busy, she will be more tired for naps and start sleeping longer. I do know that by the time Liam was about 9-10 months he was sleeping at least an hour or two in the afternoon. But I don't recall when that started or if we had to work hard to get him down for those two hours.
