i know you ladies are the only ones who can understand...
the night wakings are killing me lately. he's waking up every hour, two hours max lately.
he got two teeth last month but i would think they wouldn't hurt anymore? his first set of two teeth were 2 months apart from the second set...he wants to be attached to the boob all night long.. i have no idea what he's going through, but i could use some sleep. amazingly, i'm handling it better than usual. probably a change in attitude, but it doesn't change the fact that i want to get some rest.
i can handle the usual 2-3 hour sleep wakings, but 1 hour is like a newborn and normally allows me to take the boob away once he's sleepy enough.
this more of a vent post. i know this is normal for lots of babies. i do wish i could find the source of his discomfort and fix it.

Hugs mama! Things have just started to get better for me with my little one FINALLY doing 2-3 hour stretches at the start of the night (its usually 30 minutes-1 hour though in the early morning) instead of the 1-2 hour thing. But, she has no teeth yet so I can only imagine what is coming.

I hope it gets better for you soon! Remember, try to take it easy during the day. The dishes can wait until you are rested! And the age old advice- nap with him even if you don't fall asleep. Laying down helped me to feel rested too even though I didn't sleep.

It could be a growth spurt or it could be teeth. They don't come in at even intervals. You may have blissful periods of months in between or you may only have a week or two. This too shall pass.
