I am thinking I may need to transition my 11 months into a crib. I currently have a side carred crib set up for him and have been loving it. I am expecting our second child in October and don't know if I can co-sleep with both. I want to, but I don't want to risk Peter hurting Mouse (New baby) by accident.... WDYT?

One of my good friends co-sleeps with her newborn and 2 y/o. Couldn't you just have Peter in the side-car crib on one side of you and the new baby on the other side between you and your DH?

I did but DH works nights so I just slept between them.

I've co slept with both since the day we brought ds home. The crib is side carred and Lilly sleeps in that. We have a king bed and Oliver sleeps between dh and I.

This arrangement works out great and we all love it.

Our doula has 6 kids(infant to teen) and on any given night has up to 4 of them in her bed. They have a king sized mattress on the floor with a twin pushed up on either side.
