we get monsoon rains every august or so and i love those downpours. it's insane how much water comes down in a short amount of time...dont like the hail that can accompany those storms however because golf sized hail is no good for cars or house roofs!!
the lightning scares me because of the high fire danger.
carlos isn't afraid of them....cant say the say for my boy dog.

I love storms. I always go outside and watch them like a crazy person. I don't remember ever being afraid of them. Even tornadoes have been no big deal to me. Maybe we had enough near misses that I've become fairly apathetic about it?

I used to live in Ohio, and I remember getting lots of storms, especially in the spring. There aren't as many where I live now, just a few a year, if that.

Do you like thunderstorms? For the most part I like them
Are you scared of them or were you at one point? Not really, I was pretty scared of tornados, but I've watched enough tv shows that it's somehow comforted me and I'm actually very interested by them now
Do you get them often where you live?Yeah, we get a lot of thunderstorms, and probably a dozen or so tornados in the province every year...
Is LO afraid of them? we'll see

Do you like thunderstorms? I love them! I grew up in the Midwest and my sister and I would play "meteorologist" or "storm chasers" from our porch...it feels like home to see big thunderheads
Are you scared of them or were you at one point? No...I was always mad when my parents made me come back in the house and quit watching them!
Do you get them often where you live? Not where we live now
Is LO afraid of them? Luckily all the kids sleep right thru them

I LOVE monsoon season here in Arizona! But I will not see them anymore since we are moving!

Do you like thunderstorms? Oh yes! I LOVE them so much!
Are you scared of them or were you at one point? When I was little, like under 10 I was very scared of thunder. I have no idea why.
Do you get them often where you live? Just during monsoon season which starts in July and ends in August. I wish we had one everyday.
Is LO afraid of them? When he was younger, like 6 months he used to sit on the porch with me during them and he never showed any signs of being scared. We shall see now since he is older. I hope he is not. I like to sit outside or have the windows open during them.

I'm late!
Do you like thunderstorms? No, not really. They are too loud and I have super sensitive hearing.

Are you scared of them or were you at one point? I wouldn't say I'm scared of the storms themselves. I am scared of the loud noise.

Do you get them often where you live? Yes and no. During the summer we get them once a week or so? But they usually aren't that bad. Then a couple in fall, then nothing for a while.

Is LO afraid of them? No.. Ash seems to like them, although the thunder startles her a lot too. Matthew could care less, but there hasn't been one since he was like 4 months old.

So does the sound actually make your ears hurt?
