What's for dinner tonight ladies?

I am thinking about making grilled chicken with peppers and a salad or something.

Hungarian beef goulash with a green salad. I am making a ton and have 2 slow cookers going right now. My friend is coming to visit for the weekend with her family, and I am bringing a batch over to a local mom group friend who just had her second baby, too.

Everything sounds so healthy and yummy. But its Friday night and tradition is our house is its "payday" let's have dinner out. (There is a whole long story behind this.) Even if all we do is run grab something take-out and eat it at home. Which is what doing tonight. We are going to have Five Guys burgers and fries.

We used to have payday dinners too. Not that we have the same story, but you never know. DH and I went through a really broke stage in our lives a while back and when we got paid we always treated ourselves to dinner.

So, I changed it up a little. I am making the grilled chicken with peppers still, but for a side I am not having a salad. I ma having baked beans, sweet potato and cucumber salad. I am so hungry! I am going to start dinner in like 20 minutes.

We had a thing I made up to get rid of some brats that have been in the freezer forever... sauteed brat slices with peppers, onions, and sauerkrat. And oven fries on the side. I have been having a thing for fries with vinegar, so that was yummy.

Totally changed dinner plans again. My little brother is having a friend sleep over so my Mom ordered a pizza. And I am SO THANKFUL! Because Drake ate!

So glad Drake is feeling better!!

The Cornish Hens were great! Claire loved our "little tiny chickens" I didn't make the biscuits because the babies are a mess...6 month growth spurt? Teething? Cranky after their RSV shots? I don't know, but it isn't fun.

Frozen pizza is always a win in my house. We all love it. Especially Drake. He will chow down on it.
