Do you do any art projects with your kids?

Sometimes I wish I had an art studio in my backyard LOL. I am thinking of starting to keep more art supplies in the garage. We usually do art outside, but not as much as I would like. I would love to do marble art with them one day.

What you need:
Paper
Paint
Marbles
Small Box

It's very simple to do. Put the paper in the small box. the child dunks a marble in the paint, then puts it in the box and moves the box to make the marble roll around, making paint trails. They can do this as many times they like with as many colors as they like, until they have their desired effect.

Here is a picture of marble art.

What are your favorite easy art projects?

Right now, about all M can handle is crayons and stickers on some paper or index cards. She LOVES stickers but does not get them concept of them staying where they are first stuck she pulls them off again and puts them all over. Luckily once their stickiness is not so strong, this is no big deal. She likes to put stickers on my belly name tags and packaging stickers are fair game too.

She will draw a bit with crayons and pens but is not so enthralled by it that you can trust her with it by herself for a moment. She likes to throw and break and try to eat them too. That's why I stick with crayons. And if I just give her one at a time she is less likely to throw them but will still try to eat it.

Many playgroup friends are a bit older or not as oral and play well with all manner of craft projects, so it is often an activity at our get togethers, but I always inwardly sigh when I see all the supplies come out and know I will need to stay right on top of my kid to make sure she doesn't eat or destroy it all she is just not at the best stage for it yet!

we water color with brushes a lot...carlos didn't care too much for finger painting. he's not really into being dirty. he's the same with food, would rather use the utensils or only eat non sticky/wet finger foods. i gave him an old eye shadow pallete and he was fine using his fingers with that since it was dry.
anyway, we do crayons, pens..i like to buy white paper so he can do whatever he wants. he'll draw a bunch of lines and tell me it's a truck or a car...really cute
we sometimes color in coloring books, but he prefers the blank paper.
that marble art looks fun! we'll try it later when marbles wont be a choke hazzard

Avery is just not into colouring or painting yet. I have tried so many times she just has no interest yet.
