Did you or would you make your own baby food?

I made a lot of Claire's food and will make most of the food for the twins as well. I like having control of what my kids are eating, and fresh food just tastes better!

I plan on making all of bebe's food... I'm not sure yet if it'll be purees or if we'll go directly into Baby lead weaning and have him just eat the same things that we are, but regardless, I think it is much more budget friendly to DIY. And honestly not that complicated.

As far as purees go, if we go that route, and really even if we don't, I'm hoping that we'll have enough fresh fruits & veggies from our garden that we don't need to buy those for him either.

We did baby led weaning with our youngest and I loved that method! Though I was sad to miss out on the pureeing, which is fun LOL I love making my own because then I can create my own recipes!

I mostly made the food for DD1 but did BLW with DD2. I hated the spoon feeding so was happy to do without that.

We did BLW. So I didn't have to make any foods.

I made some for Kieran...but we ended up doing BLW. So it was a moot point. I didn't make any of Liam's, but wish I had known how easy it was! He ate purées for about two months before going to regular food.

We did BLW, so I didn't have to make any purees. And I loved skipping the spoon feeding phase!

I did make some, not as much as I wanted too though. I never was in the right place at the right time to make his food. But now all his food I make! Well, duh! But when I did buy jar foods I always bought all natural / organic, so that made me feel a little better.
