Do your LOs go on any play dates yet?
If so, what do the kids do while on their play date?
How did your child meet the LO they have play dates with?

Do your LOs go on any play dates yet? Yes. Our neighborhood actually has a playgroup that meets once a week so the kids can play and Mamas can have some adult conversationl. We also just meet up with friends sometimes.
If so, what do the kids do while on their play date? At the neighborhood playgroup there is always one planned activity for the kids...an art project, craft, making a snack, a game, building sandcastles, etc. Afterwards we just let them play and do what they want.
How did your child meet the LO they have play dates with? We live in the same neighborhood, some are kids of people my DH works with so our families know each other.

Do your LOs go on any play dates yet? Yes Eleanor has had a few play dates.
If so, what do the kids do while on their play date? They generally just play... at the park or at one of our houses. They are still little, so you have to work to get them to play together
How did your child meet the LO they have play dates with? We met her at story time at the library.

If so, what do the kids do while on their play date? Play with the host's toys, drawing or stickers, playing at the playground or in a yard or garden
How did your child meet the LO they have play dates with? There was a big Meetup group that migrated to FB and we are members of that. We have also met LOs through M's toddler music and movement classes and just incidentally at the playground.

Nope. I wish we did. I do not know anyone here, this is why I have been going to the library more and more. There is also a place called "The Cove" here, and it is an inside wave pool with water slides and stuff, well 2 times a week they have what is called "Splash Time" and its for kids 5 and under to have free water play with no crowds or anything like that. I really want to start this. Drakes LOVES the water.

We go to the gym at the school every Monday and they run around with a bunch of kids there, that's the closest we get. I'm not sure what I'll do when Early Headstart is over and I can't anymore.

Do your LOs go on any play dates yet? In our home, yes. Ashlynn has gone on a playdate with a friend of mine to her boyfriend's house to play with his daughter too.

If so, what do the kids do while on their play date? Not sure what Ash does with my friend's boyfriend's daughter. I trust my friend 100% so I don't really ask much aside from how was she, how did she eat, was she nice to her friend?
When friends come here they play with everything and destroy Ashlynn's room. Every. Time. Toys EVERYWHERE.

How did your child meet the LO they have play dates with? My friend's kids mainly and my best friend is Ashlynn's "auntie" and I let her take Ash on occasion and her boyfriend has a daughter who is a bit older than Ash so they play sometimes.

Do your LOs go on any play dates yet? Yes, my best friend brings her 2 year old son over once a week to play with Gabby

If so, what do the kids do while on their play date? They mostly just play in Gabby's room or now that it's warmer they play in my back yard.. They are still a little too young to actually play together though.

How did your child meet the LO they have play dates with? I have been friends with his mom for almost 18 years now and I think it is so awesome our kids get to grow up together!
