What do you do to focus on something important when you are busy with your LO?

Gentle parenting is about guiding instead of controlling,
connecting instead of punishing,
and encouraging instead of demanding.
It's about listening, understanding, responding and communicating.

Wait until nap-time if at all possible.

I usually always wait until nap time to do something or if I really want to do something, like the dishes I will put on Mickey Mouse or something like that. Also, taking a bathroom break to just breath allows me to focus too.

Often time if it is okay for Eve to be with me "helping" me do what I need to, then that is what happens

Other wise I wait for Scott to come home or when Eve is in bed

Usually I wait till nap time but Callen has been refusing to take a nap lately so I try to tell them to go play together. That's the great thing about having two they keep each other occupied!
