Dear Drake,

Why do you always want to do dangerous things?! You scare me!!!!

Love, Mamma xox

Why do toddlers like to do scary things?! Drake LOVES and I mean LOVES to run into the street. Well, he tries. ANDDD it's a battle. I always have to take him back inside and I feel bad because he wants to be outside but man oh man! I have daily heart attacks!

It's scary! A few weeks ago Drake and I were on a walk in our complex, and he was walking near the curb and I kept moving him away from it, he then dashed and jumped OFF the curb and face planted into the street! And he "cried" for like a sec and was fine. He scares me more then he scares himself! And at at the park he likes to climb up to the slide and jump down it so he will bounce on his butt, THEN get back up it and go backwards on his belly! You're 17 months! SLOW DOWN!!!

Uhhhh yup! I constantly ask myself that. . . Last night (i am sure you saw my status about him driving me insane) Gary kept pushing chairs up to the dining room table climbing up them and getting onto the table and walking on it. THEN he starts jumping on it. When I take him off and tell him no you will get hurt he laughs, cries, throws his arms and legs all about and says no to me. . .uhh what!? last night he fell off his chair trying to climb up onto the window ledge. . .he falls and says OUCHHHH and i was like GARY come play in here and he says MY UP and does the SAME thing again! W T F kid!

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN!!! Drake has NO fear AT.ALL! I hate when I tell him no and he does exactly what Gary does. Well honestly, I laugh sometimes, but he goes all limp and I can barely hold him.

Last night he started something new...he unlocks the dishwasher, opens it, stands on it and tried to climb onto the counter while pulling out the top rack. OMG!

Oh my! We have some fearless children in here! Kellsey is like that too! It is so weird because Callen is so cautious but she is fearless. We were at the park today and she was climbing up ladders and trying to hang from the monkey bars!! She also freaks out if I try to get her away from stuff. The road is so scary Jess because you never know if the drivers are paying attention or not!

I know! The road scares me to death! DH said once "Just let him when there's no cars." Um no, because the few times he did let him he now wants it all the time. Even when there is not a car that does not mean one won't come speeding and hit him.

Oh, and speaking of dangerous. This is actually kinda funny but not at the same time. As you all know already, Drake can unlock the dishwasher. Well he did this morning while I was in the living room getting something and I walk into the kitchen because I heard the dishwasher open, and there is he holding a steak knife! Now this is what makes it funny. He like knew it was sharp or something because he was holding it at the handle with the blade pointed away from him and he was walking mad sloooooow. LOL!
