Gentle parenting is about guiding instead of controlling,
connecting instead of punishing,
and encouraging instead of demanding.
It's about listening, understanding, responding and communicating.

When Dh asked me out for the first time I had shingles and set my alarm so I wouldn't take my painkillers too close together.
He was very cute and serious and my alarm went off right as he was getting to the point. So he started over again completely. I need to ask him if he rehearsed it all

^^

I had this BF in HS that asked me over a game of hang man...LOL! At the time I thought it was adorable! But now I think it's kinda corny!

DH asked me on-line while playing WoW. I mean, that is where we met so it only made sense.

I don't know about a date but when dh proposed. He asked me to change Callens diaper and I was kinda mad. Lol. So I change his diaper and I see a ring taped to the outside along with a note that says mommy can we keep him? Lol I thought it was pretty cute.

I would show the kids when they are older. Please tell me you took pics of it on the diaper.

That is cute! At least he saw a good idea and used it! So he bought all those gold fish? LOL! When a man goes out of his way to do something different, well HE is different in a good way!
